Chalk Paint Recipe – DIY Chalk Paint Perfection

Our Chalk Paint Recipe took several months to perfect.

We started, probably as you did looking on the internet to see what others had done before.

Do other DIY Chalk Paint recipes really work?

DIY Chalk Paint Recipes

The chalk paint recipes that we tried included using items such as gardeners lime.  Others included calcium carbonate powder, plaster of paris, talcum powder and one even suggested milk powder. (who would want to spread a paint that spoils on their walls?)

As you would imagine using these recipes we encountered different levels of success.  Some were gritty,  others too smooth.  Some thickened the paint too much and others, would set the paint rendering it useless.

Once applied we also saw different levels of workability whereas some recipe paints would scratch straight of the surface and others could not be distressed at all.

We like to think that we have created a product that is far better than a DIY chalk paint recipe as we have spent the time through trial and error to create our chalk paint powder.

Our Chalk Paint Recipe is simple!

Just stir the chalk paint powder into your matt emulsion and stir!  It really is as simple as that.

If you want to avoid the mistakes we made in our early days and not face the costs of ruined pieces of furniture and tubs of paint then try it for yourself.

Our advice; look no further for your Chalk Paint Powder!
